TPX Energy Limited (formally Telepathx) is a pioneering developer of reactive, wide area sensing communication and network software technologies. The core business involves developing low-cost wireless radio fault sensor devices and software that will be used to monitor and locate electrical faults on overhead power lines and apparatus faster and more efficiently than current systems.

In the United States sudden and irreversible power outages caused by storm damage, lightning strikes, auto accidents, and contact with flora and fauna cost industry and the economy between $80 and $120 billion dollars a year. In Europe these types of power outages cost industry and the economy $150 billion Euro a year.

TPX Energy focuses on helping these utilities automate their distribution and transmission grid fault management systems, which is a significant improvement in order to limit their operating and regulatory costs stemming from power outages.

TPX Energy is the only distribution automation company that develops low cost sensory devices that detect and pinpoint 90% of the sudden irreversible faults on the distribution grid solving one of the energy companies greatest concerns; reducing power outages and the time needed to restore them.
